Aeroplaces - places in spaces

AeroPlaces is a new project aimed at creation of community around designing space in 3D. It is planned to be a platform, not only a site. The scope of the project, number of novelties and amount of work before us scares us a lot, but hey - no pain, no gain :).
 This site is constructed around Joomla! in order to prototype the look and feel of the site. It provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface that simplifies the management and publishing of large volumes of content including HTML, documents, and rich media. We may stay with Joomla or move to another CMS (like Drupal). CMS would be our foundation to build our features around it, without having to think about such boring aspects like publishing of content or user management.
